GPs perform comprehensive skin checks to detect early signs of skin cancer and other skin conditions. Where needed, we offer in-clinic excision of suspicious moles, skin lesions, and cysts. We also provide aftercare and ongoing skin health monitoring.

Ear Microsuction
Microsuction is a gentle, safe method for removing earwax using a specialised microscope and suction device. This technique avoids water flushing and is safer and often more comfortable, especially for those with ear conditions or a history of infections.
Iron Infusions
Iron infusions are used to treat iron deficiency when oral supplements are ineffective or not tolerated. The procedure involves delivering iron directly into your bloodstream via an intravenous drip in our clinic. Our team will assess your iron levels and determine if this treatment is suitable for you.
Sports Medicine and PRP Injections
Our doctors provide assessment and management for sports-related injuries and musculoskeletal conditions. We care for both recreational and competitive athletes, offering treatment for sprains, strains, joint pain, overuse injuries, and exercise-related concerns. Management may include exercise plans, injury prevention strategies, and referrals to physiotherapy or other allied health providers.
Dr Tristan Barnes also offers platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections, a treatment that uses a patient’s own blood components to support healing in joints, tendons, and soft tissues.

Implanon Insertion and Removal
The contraceptive implant (Implanon) is a small, flexible rod placed under the skin of your upper arm that provides up to three years of contraception. Our GPs can insert or remove Implanon in a quick in-clinic procedure. Before insertion, we will discuss whether it’s right for you, how it works, and what to expect.
