Repeat Prescription Request
- Wherever possible, prescriptions are provided during a consultation.
- For requests without an appointment, a $40 non-Medicare rebate fee applies.
- Requests are actioned within 5–10 business days (not on weekends or public holidays).
- Urgent matters should be managed via an appointment (telehealth is available).
Online Prescriptions & Referrals (via AutoMed)
Repeat prescription and referral requests can be made through the AutoMed (AMS Connect) app.
- You can expect a response via SMS within 5–10 business days.
- Please be aware:
- For urgent scripts and referrals, an appointment is required.
- You must have been seen in the last 6 months.
- Requests are at the GP’s discretion.
- No addictive or restricted medications provided.
- Maximum 3 scripts per request.
Fee: A $40 per request non-Medicare rebate (plus credit card surcharge). Payment is only processed upon request approval.
Some doctors do not offer online requests – please contact reception for alternatives.
