Dr Lisa Mifsud
MBBS(Hons), BMedSci, FRACGP, DRANZCOG, DCH
I returned to Andrew Place in 2015 after completing my registrar training here in 2013.
Special interests: women’s health and sexual health. I have extensive experience from my work at the Royal Women's Hospital and the Melbourne Sexual Health Centre, and I provide comprehensive, patient-centred care across all stages of life.
My services include antenatal care, including shared care with local maternity hospitals, preconception counselling and initial fertility workup with appropriate investigations and referrals, as well as perimenopause and menopause management. I also offer contraceptive advice and procedures, including Implanon NXT insertion and IUD insertion at Andrew Place Clinic – Mill Park.
I enjoy all aspects of general practice and am happy to see anyone in need of care.
Education is an important part of my working life. I have previously been the lead supervisor at Andrew Place Clinic for training registrars and the coordinator of RACGP Level 1 training for Metro East. I am currently the RACGP Metro East Head of Training and have regularly examined for general practice assessments.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my children and baking.
