Standard appointment (12 minutes)
usually covers one health concern.
Long appointment (25 minutes)
recommended if you have multiple or complex concerns.
Please let our reception team know if you are booking for a care plan, procedure, or service that may also require nurse involvement. While our doctors and nurses make every effort to run on time, delays can occur due to emergencies or complex patient needs. We appreciate your understanding.
Preparing for Your Appointment
To get the best value from your consultation, consider:
- Writing down your questions beforehand.
- Booking a longer consultation if needed.
- Bring a support person if you’d like another set of ears.
- Asking for clarification on anything you don’t understand.
- Discussing treatment benefits, risks, and costs with your doctor.
- Taking notes or asking for written information.
- Requesting time to think or arranging a follow-up if needed.
WorkCover & TAC
- Fees for WorkCover and TAC consultations match our standard consultation fee.
- Patients are required to pay on the day and seek reimbursement from their workplace or TAC.
- Billing remains at the discretion of the doctor.
Results Policy (effective 7 November 2024)
- All results are managed by our Nursing team (not reception).
- If a doctor requests a follow-up appointment, you’ll receive an SMS notification to book (in-clinic or telehealth).
- No action results can be discussed with a nurse during dedicated “results time”:
Mon 1–2pm (Bundoora) – Nurse Jo
Tues 1-2pm (Mill Park) – Nurse Jo
Wed 1–2pm (Bundoora) – Nurse Niamh
Thu 1–2pm (Mill Park) – Nurse Jo
Fri 1–2pm (Bundoora) – Nurse Niamh
If you require your results to be discussed outside these hours, please book an appointment with your doctor. Please also understand that emergencies can arise, which may mean a nurse is not available at the scheduled time. If this occurs, we will endeavour to return your call as soon as possible.
