Fee update from 5th October 2024:
From 5th October 2024 we will be increasing our ‘After Hours’ fees - From 5pm, Saturday and Public Holidays. Weekday consults (before 5pm) remain the same.

The doctors privately bill for all patients with the exception of DVA patients where DVA will be charged directly.
Other specific groups as below.
Concession: Applies to all consultations for children aged <16 years, Aged Pensioners, Disability Pensioners and Centrelink Card Holders. Fees vary for procedures and some specialised appointments do not have concession rates.
Veterans Affairs Gold Card holders: DVA will be charged directly.
Saturday Nurse Appointments: Some patients will incur a fee to see a nurse on Saturdays.
Public Holidays: Higher fees apply on Public Holidays. Concession rates are not offered on public holidays.
Telehealth: Fees are the same as for face-to-face appointments, allowing you to decide which mode of appointment suits you best. Please note that you must have been seen face to face in our clinic within the last 12 months to receive a Medicare rebate for a telehealth consult.
TAC and WorkCover: All patients will incur a private fee, payable on the day. Patients can seek reimbursement from their insurance company or employer.
Overseas Visitors/Students (Non Medicare Card Holders): Overseas visitors and students with Health Insurance & Non Medicare card holders will be required to pay for the consultation and will be given a receipt or tax invoice for claims for reimbursement with their insurance provider.
New Patient Deposits: We require a deposit to secure all new patient bookings:
Children <16yrs: $50
>16yrs & Adults: $100
The remainder of your consultation is paid on the day and the total amount is rebatable.
Cancellations/Non-Attendance: We know your time is precious, and so is ours. To ensure doctors maintain appointment availability we ask that you please phone us to let us know if you cannot make your appointment. We are a very busy clinic with daily cancellation/waiting lists.
A cancellation fee will be charged if less than 4 hours notice is given to cancel your appointment.
Likewise a fee will also be charged for non-attendance or missed appointments.
In extenuating circumstances, Reception staff will pass on a message to the doctor and fees will be at the discretion of the doctor and are dependent on length of appointment booked.
Skin lesion biopsy or removal
A gap fee of $171.15 (weekdays) & $213.15 (Saturdays) is charged with most surgical skin biopsies or removals. This covers nursing time, prolonged GP time, consumables and dressings. The total fee may vary depending on what the procedure is done and what the Medicare item number applicable is. Your GP and Receptionists are happy to discuss any questions you may have on expected fees.
Mirena (IUD) insertion
Mirena (IUD) appointments are booked in a three stage process at Andrew Place Clinic.
1) a 30min Pre-Mirena (IUD) Assessment is booked with a trained GP to discuss at either clinic location. Fee $190 or $140 (Concession) to be paid on the day of assessment with a Medicare rebate claimed once full payment is made.
2) a 45min Mirena (IUD) Insertion Procedure is made on the next available appointment at APC Mill Park only with the trained GP and Nurse. Fee $325 to be paid on the day of procedure and a Medicare rebate claimed once full payment is made. A pregnancy test will also be performed and this part of the procedure will be Bulk Billed to Medicare separately.
Please note a $155 late cancellation fee (<24hours notice/failure to attend) will apply to patients in this event occurring.
3) a 15min 6-Week Post Mirena (IUD) Check appointment will be made with the trained GP at either clinic location. Fee $95.00 or $70.00 (Concession) to be paid on the day of check up with a Medicare rebate claimed once full payment is made.
