Andrew Place Clinic is a private billing practice. A receipt is issued on the day for patients to claim a rebate from Medicare or we can claim for the patient via medicare online claiming.
From July 1st 2018 our fee structure (paid on the day) will be as follows for a standard weekday consultation:
Bulk Billed
Concession fee $53 ($15.40 out of pocket)
Private fee $74 ($36.40 out of pocket)

- Aged pensioners
- DVA card holders
- Disability support pensioners
- Appointments with the nurse
- Health assessments
- Chronic disease management plan

- Health care card holders and pension card holders not on aged or disability pension
- Children 12-15
Private fee $74 ($36.40 out of pocket)
- Anyone not in an above category
- New WorkSafe claims
- New TAC claims
For a standard consultation, you will receive a Medicare rebate of $37.60. The out of pocket component will be roughly the same for standard and long consultations. An administration fee will be charged if you do not settle your account on the day. Please note that a cancellation fee may be charged if you do not attend your appointment or we are not notified of a cancellation at least 1 hour prior to your appointment time.
Appointments between 8:00am and 9:00 am Monday to Friday are private fee appointments - no patients will be bulk billed during these hours.
After hours, on Saturdays and on Public Holidays children 11 years and under are bulk billed; all other patients will be billed the full private fee (there are no concession rates).
The current rates are posted within the Clinic. Rates for procedures such as plastering, suturing and the removal of lesions vary and will be discussed with you prior to proceeding.
